Terms & Conditions

The terms on which you may use Tractor Exchange.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. About these terms

Tractor Exchange (“the platform”) is operated by MarketStack Limited, registered in England & Wales, company number 17335574. By using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. What Tractor Exchange is

The platform is a marketplace that connects verified sellers and buyers of agricultural machinery. We provide the introduction; we are not a party to any sale. Contracts for the sale of machinery are formed directly between buyer and seller, and settled between them off-platform.

3. Eligibility & verification

To sell, you must be approved by us as a genuine seller of agricultural machinery, and complete any identity verification we ask you for. Trade buyers may register on clearly-labelled buy-only accounts. We may decline, suspend or remove accounts to protect the integrity of the network.

4. Listings & your responsibilities

  • You must have the right to sell any machine you list, and it must be accurately described.
  • You are responsible for the content of your listing, your dealings with the other party, and compliance with applicable law.
  • You must not use the platform for fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive purposes, or to list anything you are not entitled to sell.
  • An AI tool may help draft your listing from the information you provide; you remain responsible for checking and confirming it before it is published.

5. Fees

Listing and selling on Tractor Exchange is free of seller fees — no listing charge and no commission. This is a core, permanent commitment of the platform, not a temporary promotion. Any optional paid services we may offer in future will be clearly separate, and never a condition of listing or selling your machine.

6. Trust marks

Verification marks (such as “ID Verified”) indicate specific checks we have carried out, as described on our Verification page. They are not a warranty of any machine or a guarantee of any transaction. Always inspect a machine before you buy.

7. Our liability

Because sales are between users, we are not responsible for the machinery, the conduct of users, or the outcome of any transaction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for losses arising from your use of the platform or any dealing between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Suspension & changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw the platform or any feature, and may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest revision above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
