Our trust marks mean something specific and falsifiable. Here's exactly what each one checks, when it's checked, and — just as importantly — what it doesn't.
ID Verified
What it checks: the seller has completed an identity check through our verification partner — confirming they are a real, identifiable person, not an anonymous account.
What it does not check: the condition, ownership, or description of any individual machine. ID Verified is about the person, not the kit. Always inspect a machine before you buy.
Farm Proven
What it means: the seller has established themselves as a genuine working farmer, reviewed and approved by us before they were allowed to list. It is the baseline for selling here, not an extra tier on top of one.
What it does not mean: an endorsement of a specific listing or a guarantee of a sale. It's a signal about the seller's standing, not a warranty on the goods.
Trade buyers
Vetted trade buyers can join on clearly-labelled buy-only accounts. They can browse and enquire, but they cannot list — so the seller side stays farmer-to-farmer. When a trade buyer enquires, they are labelled as a trade buyer in your inbox, so you always know who is asking.
Your part
Verification reduces risk; it doesn't remove it. Inspect the machine in person, confirm the seller owns it and it's as described, and settle safely. If something looks wrong, you can report it and a person will read it. See our safety checklist.
